2005 Motorcat MC30 for sale. I bought it in September 2012 and upgraded the old Evinrude 50s in 2014 with a pair of new four stroke Yamaha F70s that were just under £20k. They’ve done just over 60 hours. WOT is around 24 knots and poodling around the harbour, you can barely hear them.
It has the standard two ring cooker that came with the boat but I’ve added a low wattage camping type toaster and kettle and also a microwave.
I replaced all the canvas a couple of years ago with a brand new sprayhood, cockpit enclosure and tonneau cover.
On demand hot water on battery or mains power, it has a Propex propane heater.
It’s in very good condition.
I really don’t want to sell her but I need to buy a new house and the only way to do that is by selling her.

Black Fox is believed to be number 2 or number 3 of the Marcon Sabre 27.
She was built in 1969 and Launched in January 1970 and is Lloyds Registered D40252.
Black Fox is a fin keel Mk1 model, she is very distinctive amongst her peers, having a 3 foot taller mast and little extra weight on the keel. Below she is also unique and is completely fitted out in wood giving her a cosy timeless feel.
Black Fox has been featured four times on the cover of Sailing publications, and many articles, and in the Reeds Yacht Buyers Guide. She had a very in depth article in Sailing Today, May 2001 issue ‘Sabre 27 is there a better 27 footer?’
