The yard and its history...

The new No3 pontoon. The first replacement pontoon we put in. It was done by Dominci loghborough as one long section. The second photograph shows it completed The old mooring catermaran to the left of the slipway. The old admiralty pontoon wavebreak where now is No.4 pontoon.

Just prior to the construction of No 4 pontoon.

Bernadette fo Lourdes, a large (40 plus feet) and potentially lovely boat seen here at the Hamble. Delivered to us having sunk off Hillhead when the waves battered the rotton topsides, refloated and abandoned at the top of No 2 pontoon . Was dragged to the space between No 2 and No1 pontoon where it rested, rotting for a couple of years. Eventually it was agreed to scrap it and it took several weeks of relentless hard work and many very large skips to remove. The moral of the story is that marine surveyors are very useful people.
